President Patt Parker's Biography

Political:

·        President, Maryland Federation of Republican Women 2006-2007

·        Advisory Board, Republican Women’s Federal Forum

·        Appointed to the Governor’s Emergency Management Advisory Council  and the Task Force on Service Disabled Veterans

·        Board of Directors: National Federation of Republican Women; Maryland Federation of Republican Women

·        Member of the First Ladies (Maryland) Forum

·        Charter President, Republican Women Leaders of Calvert County

·        Campaign Manager

·        Legislative Chair, MFRW

Professional:

·        Thru December 2005, Deputy Director in the Office of Military and Federal Affairs, Department of Business and Economic Development.

·        Special Assistant to the Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence. Patt has traveled to 23 countries.  She briefed numerous senior level military and political officials on a continuing basis. She was requested as an adjunct professor at professional military institutions (National Defense University).

·        Founder and President of DioSicuro, LLC, focuses on leadership development and executive coaching. Other experience:  school administrator and teacher, convention planner, lobbyist, marketing director, professional conference speaker. 

 

Education:

·        BA in Education

·        MBA, emphasis in Management.   

·        MS, National Security, National War College

·        100+ post graduate hours in organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, and leadership development

 

Personal:

·        Patt resides in Dunkirk Maryland with her husband, Geoffrey S. Parker

·        Has two grown sons

·        Has four granddaughters (Ages 3-12)

·        Loves reading, music, cooking and politics

·        Member Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church, in Davidsonville
